I think abortion is murder. I think that proves it. What do you think?

  1. A murdered pregnant woman carries a developing child inside her - a child who is considered to be a human being. An abortion happens when the fetus is not yet considered to be a human being in any shape or form - at least in the eyes of science, which takes a more practical view to things. To think abortion is murder is looking at things in a moral view.  At that time, it's simply a cell. You can't exactly have murder or homicide involved with cells, really. The law does not look at situations morally.

  2. If its not a baby, she isn't pregnant and visa verse

  3. I would not call abortion murder, but I would call it euthanization.

If a pregnant woman is murdered, both the woman and her child are lost, therefore it should be considered double-homicide.

I planned my pregnancy, but shortly afterwards my husband turned psycho and left me without a home, basically homeless and desperate.  I did not qualify for public assistance, I did ask for help at a crisis pregnancy center but there was no help available for someone like myself.

I am totally alone and my choices were to be homeless and pregnant, or get more hours at work and save myself by ending the pregnancy.  My job is high-stress and I was forced to take a severe cut in hours because of pregnancy symptoms.

I never thought I'd have an abortion, I think they are one of the saddest things.  But I have no choice.  My husband won't give me any money, unless it is for the abortion!  My family is broke, and his family hates me and just wants me to go away. If anyone is reading this and might be willing to talk to my evil A$$hole husband, please do.

  4. For the same reason that the mother gets to choose whether to abort a fetus at 22 weeks or commit her insurance company (or perhaps the government as insurer) to spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in a low-odds attempt at saving a baby in premature labor at the same gestational age.

  5. It some cases the mother could die and its the only way to save the mother. My aunt was having 9 kids, 9! She could keep two but with her health conditions it was still going to be extremely dangerous. If she did not have an abortion she would of died along with all 9 babies. Now two babies and mother are living happily. I think there are different situations where abortion is okay and during what stage

  6. Yeah... they got me with that logic too... :/  it doesn't make any sense to me... and I am quite a logical person in my opinion...

  7. Because America is a gigantic hypocrite.

Also, murder involves malice, which a double-homicide has and an abortion does not.

  8. okay so heres how I see it.  If you try to kill yourself and do not succeed it is not considered attempted murder, you are not sent to jail.  Because, physically killing yourself only affects one human, yourself.  So, because at the early stages of pregnancy, the fetus is, arguably not developed enough to be considered human, arguably abortion also only affects one (or two) human(s), the mother (and/or the father).  So in America YOU decide what happens to YOU

  9.   I think it's considered a double homicide if the fetus would have been viable at the time of the mother's death. Since most abortions take place during the first trimester (three months or less) there is no way for the fetus to survive outside the womb even with the state of medical technology today.  Of course, I think it's medical technology that's to blame for the whole controversy in the first place.   The fact of the matter is at certain times, a human fetus looks exactly like a reptile fetus then a chicken fetus.  It would take going to the genetic level to tell the difference between the three. But that's neither here nor there.  I personally wouldn't have an abortion but I wouldn't be arrogant enough to dictate that another woman can't have one.

  10. I agree.

  11. its a double standard. How come now the obama supporters (who always sqawked about a baby being viable), now say its OK to let a baby BORN ALIVE after a botched abortion to DIE, just leave it there and let it die.

  12. I agree that abortion is murder, but abortion is legal due to the women's right to chose, the murder does not have that right to choose, so it is assumed the baby would have been born, and is double homicide.

  13. At what month was she? In the first trimester, the fetus is as alive as a cancerous tumor.

  14. well...

homicide is not synonymous with murder, and all the laws you mentioned are controversial.
