How come after i uploaded a vid on youtube, the pic of the video before you press play isnt there on display?

the picture is just a white and gray camera with a clock on it and i want the still video thumbnail to show up but it wont...

or is this just because i uploaded it like 2 minutes ago...?

yea you have to wait a little while. Sometimes it shows up right away but other times you got to wait. Don't be surprised if it takes a couple days. But eventually it will show up.

Its still processing  because I get that all the time.

Shortest time it took for me was about an half hour but it varies sometimes.

I am not an expect on how a website like that works but I know one video can go up within 30 minutes with everything fully loaded another it can can an hour or two.The longest it took me was a day.

So just have have to be patient and wait it out because its not an instant thumbnail. So don't worry its a typical youtube thing when you upload videos.
