How come almost every time I get fast food, the food that is supposed to be hot is cold?

The stuff that is always supposed to be a certain temperature by law (beef) is almost always cold? Fast food is almost always at room temperature. And a lot of times the food is cooked hours beforehand and then just microwaved right after I order. What's up with that?

DRive thru is staright to you unless it is backed up somtimes they work on double easyest first and duplicates after that so it may sit there for awhile.

Because fast food sucks.. It's so unhealthy, nothing is fresh.. those burgers are made at big factories, it's not like they form the burgers with their hands using fresh beef.

Beef is required to be cook to a minimum interior temperature of 155 degrees for 15 seconds. Since it's precooked they probably just zap it in the microwave for.. not long enough.

If it's not 140 degrees or above it is in the danger zone (41-140 degrees), that means that it's the perfect conditions for bacteria to multiply.. rapidly.

If you wanna be completely safe, buy your own meat and cook it at home. Get grass-fed ground beef, season it up how you want, throw it on the grill, in the broiler, or even in a frying pan.

That's gross... I would say take it back but who knows what they would do to your food!! Call the Better Business Bureau...

If you get it and then drive home, it will be cold, guarenteed.

But I know for a fact that they do not make the food and then heat it up, I work at Mcdonald's and my cousins/friends have worked at basically all the fast food places around here.

Fries get cold immediately, so they are the last thing that you should get. Any frozen/cold things are always first, then sandwiches, then fries. The meat and fries are on timers, and once they've been out long enough that they will become cold/unhealthy, they are trashed.

Cause they dont tell you it will be hot fast food... ya it is gross.. i worked at McDonalds and i will never eat there again because of the way they make the food.. YUCK!!! and that goes for any fast food place because i know mcdonalds is one of the healthest made over other places...

If it's cold you should get your money back as soon as you realize the temperature of the food is not what it should be.  Don't feel like you are upsetting anyone you should get what you pay for!

depends on where u go, at mcdonalds that is the case but i worked at wendys and everything is cooked right on the spot, and doesnt sit there, the only thing that sits there is the chili and potatoes so it depends on what u get but i know wat u mean
