How come anime fans can't accept the fact that everyone doesn't like anime?

I always see how some anime fans make it seem like someone is crazy because they don't like anime. Just because anime fans find it to be the greatest thing on Earth, doesn't mean everyone else has to. I don't like anime that much and I don't like using the term anime, I prefer to call them cartoons. Is that so bad?

Well, I think... most people wants everything to be equal.
And.. to us fans, we should think it must be equal too.
You should be a part of us.

Well... calling it cartoon is not bad.
But the thing that comes in mind when it comes to that word.. are
those boring Cartoon Network (no offense) shows...
Technically, ANIME means CARTOONS when translated.
