Whenever he is Bruce Wayne he talks like a normal person, but whenever he is Batman he has to use the deep voice that sounds like he has bronchitis from a lifetime of smoking cigarettes.

=| Its not like people are going to recognize he is the batman because he sounds like him.

Another thing i wonder if Christian Bale does it in real life, like if he has to evade the paparazzi he puts on disguise and talks like that =0

  1. I agree his voice was wayy too deep in the movie. Everytime he would talk me and my friend would start cracking up.

  2. Ok...dude! I totally think it's stupid!! I had to work so HARD to keep from laughing during the movie. The voice sounds stupid.

Howcome? I don't know howcome...I do know that Christian will kick himself years later for giving in to such a STUPID voice "disguise." It just doesn't work!

  3. its for dramatic effect : )

  4. Lol, I have no idea! I mean, just so that no one recognizes his voice and stuff. But, when I hear him talk like that, I wonder if it hurt his vocal chords to pull that off. XD

  5. Batman tries as hard as he can to seem tough and mysterious to everyone he meets, and he couldn't pull that off very well using an average guy Bruce Wayne kind of voice. Plus, Bruce is such a famous guy that some people actually might be able to figure out who he is by his voice. There's not much of a chance of it happening, but he can't risk it. Hence, the voice change.

  6. People could recognize bruce as the batman because of his voice. I'll admit the broncitis growl is a little over the top, but it's better than if he did like a high pitched voice or something.

  7. Another reason why he used that deep voice was to intimidate the criminal or villain he's facing. Batman was supposed to scared/intimidated bad guys ya know...

Although I gotta admit, it was funny upon hearing him saying "I'm not wearing a hockey pads" to Scarecrow and fake Batman! I think the scene where his deep voice really intimidated the bad guy was when he asking Sal Maroni where's The Joker....

  8. me and my friend debated ion the answer for that and decided the voice comes with the suit

or its just some wierd superhero thing
