And its considered to be hilarious. But as soon as a white comedian tells the same type of joke, he gets grilled by the whole world and is considered a racist. I was watching the 3rd season of dave chappelle where one of the black comedians called the white people in the crowd crackers . And in another skit, dave chappelle called a white man honky. But as soon as a white comedian makes a black joke, there considered a racist ?

  1. Because white men can take it. It is not popular to joke about white women, or white children.

  2. because white people are scared of black people. i dont care what anybody says, i am white. but i wouldnt say something racist in a black mans face. nor would about 99 percent of people.

  3. Same reason Christians can take the p**s out of jews. Jews killed their lord (but then the jews got destroyed in ww2). Its all about slavery and jew gold.

  4. It's a form of racism, there's really no other way to put it.

I've seen some very funny white comedians poke fun at black people and black culture, but in an non-inflammatory way.  Someone above me said it... "it is what it is".  For whites to get away with it, it has to be sharp, and witty.  Blacks can still go for the cheap laugh, for now.

  5. If it is true and it is funny then you just have to laugh!

I remember Eddie Murphy live and when he pointed out things about us white people that were often true I fell of my seat!

It should not be a problem to tell a funny story as long as it is not an offensive lie!

    Just my view of things

  6. The lower down you are on the "social ladder," the more acceptable it is for you to make jokes about the foibles and frailties of the people "above" you.

So women can tell jokes about dumb men, blacks can tell jokes about dumb whites, and native americans can tell jokes about EVERYBODY.

  7. Because we (blacks) were victims of slavery by white people

  8. I laugh if its funny, I get upset when its a fallacy being used as if it is valid.

  9. africans were opressed and enslaved.. so for whites to point fingers is cruel.

its sort of like its normal when children complain and make fun of their parents, but when parents start making fun of their children, its sort of cruel.

lol i dont really know where im going with this answer.

    it is what it is.

  10. Well... my dear...

I'm NOT "black", but I DO empathize with the "people of colour" (no matter, WHAT race they are)...because WHITE MEN have oppressed all people "of colour" for centuries (and STILL DO today)-starting with "the Mayflower"...and how your "forefathers" have exploited the poor Indians...-you all know the history of the US ...- and- what your question concerns...-well it's just the underlined "anger" carried on through the "generations" & all  the "hidden" discrimination of "coloured people" thery STILL suffer from... TODAY..that give the comedians the "gratitude" of being "sarcastic" with their "jokes"...- at least, that's what I think the reason could be, since I am an empathetic person !!!

Wishing you all the best for the future! Greetings from Germany....Annette***

  11. I agree.  I have always watched black comedians doing this and wonder why they think it's ok.  Especially when people are paying to see your show.  I think the whole audience should boo them and frown upon that type of behaviour.  We all should learn to respect each other.  A few stereotypical jokes about all races are to be expected, however, blatantly stating "Hey, I see the white people came out" kills me.  So I don't have an answer but did want to comment.
