How come chicken fingers are really thick?

Ive sean chickens, and there fingers are not that big...and also im surprised that their not bony ! Im realy confused.

    These are so totally not the same thing!  :-D

    The "chicken fingers" served in a restaurant or sold in the freezer section of the grocery store are boneless, breaded strips of chicken meat and have nothing to do with chicken feet or toes...

Are you talking about the FOOD chicken fingers?  Chicken fingers are not made with the actual fingers of a chicken, that would be disgusting.  Chicken fingers are made with the meat of a chicken, it has nothing to do with their actual fingers.  They are named 'chicken fingers' because they are long and narrow, like fingers.
