How come drive thru ATM's have braille?

Is that really the safest place for a blind person to be? What if a blind guy is just walking around and happens to find the ATM and starts using it, and then a car comes and then, BAM!

  1. a liberal brainstorm??

  2. BELIEVE OR NOT! PEOPLE WHO ARE ALMOST BLIND CAN LEGALLY DRIVE! You can still drive with 20/200 vision! That means they probably can't read the small numbers on the ATM machine so they need the braille. Scary stuff but very true look it up. I saw it looking up requirements for handicap stickers!

  3. lol

  4. LOL...Hey blind people need wheels too!

Really though - I'm sure it's to save money - theres no reason to make a new - non braille - ATM just for the vehicle lane.

  5. So that blind people can use them as well while they are in the back seat.

  6. You can also walk through them. Try it sometime. You might lose a pound or two.

  7. It's for the people talking on their cell phones while putting on their pants while eating the burger they ordered off their laptop.

  8. Because they use the same keypads when producing drive through atm's and regular atm's.

This is much cheaper than having two separate assembly lines
