How come everyone in mini vans drive slow?

well... it seems like every single mini van i ever encounter on the road are always so slow... like 5mph under the speed limit. Ontop of going slow, they slow down around turns that are so wide like you dont have to slow down. The wierd thing about them is, they dont always stop at stop signs, go through yellow lights and pull out infront of you. So they are hessitent and scared to drive the speedlimit or faster, but they are daring enough to run stop signs, and pull out infront of you.

I dont get it?

  1. Actually I find they either are slow or they are too fast and almost cause accidents. I live right by a school, I cannot tell you how many times they have almost hit me.

Some SUV drivers too. Usually soccer mom's. ( I mean no offense)

I think it is either because they have kids in the car, or that they are not paying attention because they have kids in the car. Also most of the time they are on cell phones.

  2. they are all moms wanted to keep their children safe

  3. Dude, my mom drives a mini van FULL of kids, one kid for each seat, no joke. Man, she rocks the minivan, not to fast, not to slow, gets the kids to school on time and keeps everyone safe. I dunno what you're talking about.

  4. They do? Seems to me most of them fit in with the idiots in there pickups and suvs that think all traffic laws do not apply to them.

  5. Because they are Tards.

  6. They probably have kids.

  7. I can explain the slowness at the turns and curves:  vans are top heavy and going around a turn too fast can run the risk of tipping over.  Also, most people who own a van do so because they need to carry many passengers, particularly children.  By going slower, then can stop faster in an emergency.  About pulling out in front of you.... maybe late for soccer practice :)

  8. No offense, but please don't cut mini vans down.

The people who drive them are not always women, older people, and people who have children.

I have several customers that are in wheelchairs, so they have to drive a mini van and yes some of them drive a little slow but at least they are trying unlike many other people........
