Question:

How come everytime i try doing an ollie on my skateboard it only goes half way up?

the front only goes up and the board doesnt get off the ground i i make tail of my skateboard go down and at the same time i slide my foot forward and jump at the same time wtf am i doing wrong?

  2. After you pop the board slide your foot and the skateboard will go all the way up.

  3. u cant just push the tail down, the tail has to be snaped down so hard it bounces,or "pops" back up off the ground, when u pop the tail ur back foot needs to get into the air so the tail can come back up, the pop needs to be strong and fast, if ur popping it rite the board will be off the ground and u slide ur foot to get it higer. the pop and the jump are basically done at the exact same time.

    u jump and pop the board at the same time and the board then bounces off the ground its now in the air, ur front foot drags the board up higher because the griptape creates friction between u and the board, as u move ur front foot not only does the board get higher but now ur weight is even on both sides so the tail of the board evens out in hieght with the nose, u bend ur knees to allow the board more room and then u slam it back down, understand?
