  1. How so?  I guess, if that's true, I can think of a possible reason.  On land, there are more diverse environments than underwater.

  2. Who says it is?  Species have been evolving continuously both on land and in the sea for millenia.  Just because our ancestors ventured out onto land, it doesn't mean that other animals went away or stopped evolving.

And the expression you're looking for is "as OPPOSED to terrestrial..."

  3. Oh, I doubt that's the case.  Look up cichlid evolution in Lake Victoria.

  4. cuz they are limited on where they can go and the earth has many types of environment and water is water and the aquatic is so much slower cuz anything on land can go in water but not everything in water can go on land so they are lmited

  5. Evolution is silly

  6. Actaully that's not necessarily true...

  7. My guess would be that changes in aquatic environments are less drastic than those of terrestrial environments. Think about how the seasons affect land as opposed to sea - how the deeper the water, the fewer changes happen during the changing seasons..

  8. It actually plays out much faster.

  9. Evolution is not scientifically proven at all. They have never found any species that linked any other two species. It was simply one man's (Darwin) way to explain the existence of many different animals, many of which had several different traits in common- however the simple fact is that they all live in similar environments and therefore would naturally share some common traits (i.e. eyes, nose, mouth, stomach or some food processing mechansim, a way to rid of waste, a layer of protection for internal organs and soft mucle tissue= skin and usually some type of defence mechanism.)

A university student in Japan once claimed to have found the remains of an animal that was thought to have been the link between two species that would be a ground breaking discovery for the case of evolution, however, this "animal" turned out to be a hoax as it had been intricately engineered by the student and some classmates.

Evolution is only theory and not scientific.

  10. Why is it slower?

We've only been around for a few thousand years, so we can't see any drastic changes.

We've been recording time for a few thousand years, there's gonna be absolutely no change within that time frame.

I'm sure evolution is the same in every environment.

  11. dunno... ask mother nature, or buddha, or alla, or whatever you belive in
