How come girls in the 90's used to hike up their pants/shorts all the way up ?

Cause when i watch 90's sitcoms or movies, girls hike up their shorts/pants and swimsuits all the way up to their belly buttons, lol. that's so cheese, lol. did everyone in the 90's and 80's do that? cause i see it when i watch saved by the bell, beverly hills 90210, baywatch and other stuff from the 90's

I know, its kind of silly. But that was the styles back then, new styles arrive every decade.

it was the style back then. in a couple years we'll think skinny jeans were the worst creations made too.

Styles/Trends were cool back then and now they're just stupid and annoying.

High waisted jeans are way too much now. Gosh people can never have the guts to wear their own style first, no they wait until it becomes a trend and then they're not original.

I liked the old style.

That was the style, and that was just the way jeans etc. were made to be worn.  Are you old enough to remember "MC Hammer" parachute pants?  lol. What was that about?!  Styles come and go. Oddly enough, they also seem to come back around eventually. Some high waisted jeans are actually in style right now. I don't like them personally.
