i live in a rather "good" wheather area, lots of spiders and various insects crawling around all the time. and yet im 22 years old, and i dont recall ever physically touching or having any spiders crawling on my hand etc ever

plenty of times it appears crawling in my room and i always get up quickly before it touches me. but never has it ambushed from the back or crawl on me, im just wondering whether im just lucky... or do they avoid me

speaking of avoiding.. do cockroaches have any ******* natural instincts? yesterday one was on the ground and I was trying to see if it senses vibrations and crawl away from it. so I tapped my foot right in front of it, and it crawled RIGHT to my foot.... and I squashed it. cant it sense my foot coming up/down ?? is it that stupid

  1. Spiders don't like you.  It's because you seem to have no other friends.  Perhaps you should get out of the house more, interact with people, or at least dogs and other mammals, and leave the insect world alone.

If this really bothers you, you might hire a spider aversion therapist.  They like to put spiders on people so people are less afraid of spiders.  If you crave the touch of a spider, there are professionals who specialize in providing just that service.

    Good luck with that one.

  2. they are supposet o be not sure why it didn't go away. i wouldn't let a spider crawl on me and in the south you have to be carefult hey are some poision. well you must be nuts to wantt o be around bugs not me i hate them that is why iwant to go north gain take care.

  3. umm maybr you have lightning fast reflexes..

i heard somewhere that you swallow at least 3 spiders in your whole lifetime while your sleeping! hahaha isnt that gross!?

i can pick up daddy long legs but not those black ones!!! omg tey give me like heart attacks!

  4. Dont u know its a fact that u eat like a small handfull of bugs and rat f***s per year because standards allow for acceptable amounts to get into your food? so youve probly physically ate more spiders than worried about touching

  5. um.

    neither have i???

  6. Well, as for being touched by a spider, I'm sure you have, just while you slept.  The average person eats 3-5 spiders a year in their sleep.  As for avoiding you, just like they would any other person.  They will avoid you as you avoid them.  The only reason they would have to touch you is if you are in their path of travel, you upset a web and it falls on you, or you are threatening it so it attacks.

Cockroaches have natural instincts, haven't you seen them scatter when the light turns on?  I think of them like people, some are smarter then others, and the dumb ones get squished.

  7. "The average person eats 3-5 spiders a year in their sleep."

That's just because there's this one guy who eats 1/2 a billion spiders per year in his sleep.

    His brother is a jerk.

  8. hmmmmmm  i think u have a phobia or maybe something else i dont think i ever touched a spider either

  9. A spider has probably touched you in your sleep. I heard once that people accidently swallow 35 spiders while asleep during their lifetimes. That seems unlikely to me though.

  10. Wow, what a random question.

  11. maybe because there afraid you may squash them like the cockroach.

  12. if cockroaches had no natural instinct it wouldn't be alive as long as it has been.  maybe that one was mentally retarded!

  13. roaches, i've seen many that scram when i get close to them. i tracked them down and left boric acid powder where they come from. that sticks to their bodies and eats a hole in their body and kills them. i haven't seen a roach in a long time (living in a condo, they live in walls, they're in the building, but not in my unit)

spiders, most of them won't bite, they're afraid of you, i have woke up a couple times with a spider crawling across me, when i moved, they scooted away. i don't really care to touch them, if one was close and i had a lighter, i'd torch it (for many years i'd let them make webs in the corners of my rooms, hoping they'd catch bugs that got in the building or through the screens, their webs were mostly vacant, so a couple years i "evicted" them all.

if you have the urge to touch or hold one, it won't do you harm (maybe do a search on deadly spiders first, but deadly spiders are few and far between)
