How come i can't burn movies in my memorex rewritable dvd?

Okay, I've tried burning movies on my Memorex-R DVD but it never works. It doesn't let me burn movies. Now I can't burn movies in this DVD. Someone please help me!!

  1. If you have digital cable or digital satellite you can't. The digital signal is encoded to prevent digital copies being made. There is a way around it. Tape your movie to an old-fashioned VCR tape. The tapes are magnetic not digital. The signal doesn't carry over to the tape and then you can record it. You lose quality but you do get the movie on DVD.

  4. well you have to have a special dvd burner. The built in cd burner in your computer wont work
