How come i can transfer music from my phones Micro SD card to ps3 but not movies

i want to record some vids on my phone then get them onto my PS3 but for some reason any videos on my micro SD card wont show up on my ps3

to answer your question correctly, your phone records videos in a different format than what the PS3 will recognize.
