  1. Biotin is part of the B complex of vitamins and works synergistically (best with) with vitamins B2, B6, B3 and vitamin A..... don't supplement with vitamin A though, simply eat more foods rich in vitamin A as it is a fat soluble vitamin ie ~ dark green and yellow vegies, eggs and yellow fruits, sweet potatoe, pumpkin.

Foods rich in Biotin are ~ beef liver, egg yolks, peanut butter and unpolished rice.

Take a multi B complex tablet including all the B's ie: B1, B2 B3, B5, B6 and B12 as they work best synergistically (together)....... do not take any of the B complex of vitamins individually, but rather as a whole complex, unless specifically instructed to by a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath.

The B complex of vitamins is essential for healthy neural, digestive and immune system functioning.

The B complex of vitamins is a water soluble complex and as such our bodies can neither store or produce them. Therefore we need to ingest them on a daily basis.

Things that will rob you of your precious B complex of vitamins are :- eating too much protein, alcohol, eating too much tinned food, laxatives and diuretics, antiobiotics, antidepressants, penicillin, prednisone and aspirin, otc cold and flu medicines.

Also, try to cut back on drinks such as caffeine, tea, sodas and soft drinks as they are all B complex thieves........ as well as being great at dehydrating you.

Any reputable health food store should be able to supply you with a good quality multi B complex supplement.

Please also ensure that whichever supplement you decide to buy doesn't contain any lactose, wheat, yeast, gluten, preservatives or flavorings, sugar or yeast as none of these have any place in a good quality supplement anyways ..... and it is possible that you may have an intolerance to any such additives.

Also, try to ensure that you drink loads of fresh filtered water on a daily basis too ........ at least 2 - 3 litres per day...... to make sure that you are properly hydrated ....  you'd be amazed at how being just a little bit dehydrated can affect your mood and energy levels.

    hope this helps a bit

    peace 2 u

  2. Try it in the natural form anyway, like in Brewer's Yeast sprinkled onto your cereal or ice cream or whatever you'd like. Try this link for more info on sources:
