How come i cant open up software?

sometimes,when i click on the shortcut,it has the hour glass thing,then the hour glass goes away,but the software doesnt open.I makes me some mad.why does it do that

may i know what software is it??

you may want to run virus scan or ad aware, maybe ccleaner can help to? they are free to download from internet and no harm in trying to see if they will help your problem.

Sometimes the shortcut file pointing to the program can become corrupt . Delete the shortcut and open up the program from your all program list or where ever you saved it and create a new shortcut
