  1. you are still eating too much food.

the best diet is to eat less food.

  2. Forget anything you have ever learned about how awesome it is to just stop eating and lose weight.

HERE IS THE SECRET...are you ready?

In order to lose weight you need to:

Eat MORE so you have energy to work out and gain muscle mass....thats amazing isnt it? In fact, the only way to lose weight HEALTHILY, is to GAIN some weight at first (muscle weighs more than fat).  Although muscle weighs more than fat, it burns A LOT more calories, and thus burns up the fat,

    So here it is again....

EAT NORMALLY (be healthy about it, eat smaller meals but you need to eat), get muscle mass (you need to eat to do this), keep up your work out schedule and gruadually build it up as you become more fit.

There is no way easy way to lose weight...in fact it is much HARDER to lose weight if you cut back on calories because the human body is designed to alter its metabolism (how fast it burns calories).  That means if you eat less, your body will burn less calories (and you will lose less weight).

The important thing to do with eating, is to be smarter about what you eat...dont eat lots of things that are bad for you (oils, salty stuff, "junk foods") and one of the biggest things ive noticed,.... drink less pop, the more water you can drink the better....try very hard to cut back your pop intake....Diet pop is no good either...its not the salt or calories that are bad, but the carbonation....it really does hinder your health.

  3. You may have hit a plateau, a stage where you're in balance so nothing's changing.

Add weights to your exercise if you aren't using them already.

Exercise first thing in the morning - increases your metabolism all day.

Eat breakfast every day!  Diets are often self-sabotaging because the body goes into starvation mode: It slows down your metabolism.

Breakfast tells your body - food will be coming, exercise tells it - food will be used.  Breakfast could also reduce snack cravings in the day.

Many nutritionists suggest a big lunch is better than a big dinner.  Because you have a few hours to burn it off.

Have soups and or salads with every dinner, making it easier to resist

Find a way to add veggies to EVERything (mashed potatoes, rice, pasta)  Even if you have to cook and blend them in - sometimes that's a way to by pass flavors you don't like.  Squashes are good for this because they have very bland often neutral flavors.

  4. maybe the foods you are eating are high in calories
