How come i get a very very very slow download speed?

so i have a 2 meg internet broadband,

Ive done internet speed tests and i get about 1850kb which is ok for me, i use to get 245 kb for donwloading

HOW COME I ONBLY GET 10 KB NOW THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR A WEEK NOW???

download and scan with .... AVG and spybot ...

may be you have got infection ....

I'm not an expert on this subject, but maybe a few things couldn't hurt your computer.

First of all, try repairing your internet connection. Do this by right-clicking on the internet icon to the left of your time on the taskbar. This has helped me, for some reason, whenever I have trouble like this.

Also, another computer may be using wifi through your internet connection. If you do not have a password for your wifi, set one up. If you do, virus-scan your computer and set a new password. (I do not know how to change that password, please google it to find the answer.)

Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and see what your connection speed is.  If it's still good, the problem is on the internet (the servers you're downloading from, the paths you're getting) and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

If it's slow it's your provider or your computer.  then you can call your provider and figure it out between you.
