How come i rarely get my period?

alright. im 21... and never really looked into this. but i got my 1st period when i was 16.. and i got it every month...then the next year rolls around and i got it twice that year...then the next year...i got it 5 time. the next year i got it 7 time. the next year i got it 4 times. and now this year ive gotten it 3 times. whats wrong????

you wouldnt happen to have an eating disorder would you?? sorry if thats offensive  in any way but you know its possible

well..if not try talking to your doctor about it cause that really isnt normal (obviously)

it could be many things like you might be underweight or stressed or it could something medical.

either way, you should ask a doctor

Hormonal imbalance can cause that, as well as stress, malnutrion, weight loss.

Go see your doc or gyno.

my period was always super crazy like that

and when it did come it was really long/painful/horrible

in the end i went to the doctor and got a blood test and ultrasound

because i was sick of the out of control cycle

i was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome

and put on the pill

now not only do i know when i'm period will come (down to the day)

i can choose to skip it if my life will clash with my period

What can be wrong is that may-b there's a problem with your menstrual cycle and you might wanna go to the doctor because thats not good

I was the same way. My periods have started to even out now. I am still a little late sometimes, but this year I have gotten them everymonth.

If you take birthconrtol, it will make you get your period every month. I dont think is healthy for your body to be doing that. I would ask the doctor the next time that you go.

But heck! Your saving money on pads! haha
