For example, when I got to the airport,my suitcase was 55lbs. so I took 5 lbs. of stuff and gave it to my husband to give to his mother. He was embarrassed to be walking around with a bag full of girlie stuff.

  1. Come on Chula, you're going to tell me your hubby got embarrased because of that!!!

Well you know how it is - Pueblo Chico Infierno Grande.  Go figure!

  2. Hey, that's difficult for any man . But after getting older, we oblige our spouses without much complaining !!

BTW, I lived in Panama for 2 years and my Spanish is very rusty, but I think your husband said 'They're gonna to say I'm g*y'

Is that the correct translation ?

And could you post the translation for 'lo que diran' ?

  3. Unfortunately, we are a very small country where everybody knows everybody.  So, you don't want to run into your exboss or new neighboor while you don't look too fashion or you are carrying a girlie bag.  Sorry, I hope we would not be such "vidajenas" and live our own lives.
