How come in USA I need a degree to get a Customer Service Rep job, yet?

Yet, they are hiring them left and right throughout Asia with no degree. So long as they speak pretty good English they are hired on the spot.. WOW, did I get suckered into this 4 year degree. It was a waste of money!

It depends on the employer.  If you apply at a company that requires a degree, then you need a degree or the equivalent work experience.

You need to apply at companies that don't require a degree for the Customer Service Rep job you are going for..
