How come it takes forever to POST something on Freecycle?

It really depends on the moderator. In my group, one of our moderators checks in every few hours. In a nearby group, the moderator checks in every week or two, or three.

I'd email some of the nearby Freecycle groups. They might be able to sign on as assistant moderators and help your group out, or take it up with their state coordinator.

I have the same problem - posted somthing on the 23rd of this month & it's still not there - I see other posts coming on every few minutes - but mine never gets there.  Supposedly, each message has to be approved by a moderator - but you'd think they would have approved it after 4 days!
