  1. Yeah, they all are right... Junior has won the race in the past, which is why Mark Martin is racing, as well. He hasn't won a points race since Kansas of 2005.

But their other point is wrong, on how the 25 teams' points moved to the 88. The 5 team became the 88, and the 25 team became the 5. A little more complicated, but that's how it worked out.

  2. Cause he's already won the all star race before

and because he's going to start winning some races pretty soon

  3. i wish you would do your homework b4 asking a question

  4. Kickbacks and bribes to the sanctioning body, perhaps?

  5. Because he drives the 88 which was formerly the 25.  Casey Mears won the Coke 600 in the 25 last year.  So, he gets in on an owner win.

If this had not been the case, he would STILL be in because he has won the All Star race within the last 10 years.

  6. Because JR. already won an All-Star race Stan.

What do you get for taking out your own brother in an All-Star race Stan?

Bet you feel like an AS* now don't ya' Stan?

  7. Nascar is rigged with Junior people.

Rob b will know for sure, lets ask him.

  8. Let him race, I mean it's not like he is going to win since he has forgotten how.  Thumbs down all you want, but it's the truth

  9. according to jayski and speedtv.com (sources below), he's in as the winner of the 2000 all-star race (the only rookie ever to do so).  if he hadn't won that, he would still be in as he is driving a car that won last year (the #25, renumbered to the #88).

  10. He is a past winner....and yes I have to agree with Troy B, he'd get voted in my his Nation....After all his Nation Votes.. By the way are you guys voting for your favorite driver every day in the Chex most popular driver as well...Like I say Jr Nation we vote. Next yr there should be a win or two that will get him in the Allstar race..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  11. even if he had not had won it a couple of years back he would be in it just because he has such a huge fan base

  12. He is a past winner of the event which I believe is good for ten years. Somebody else will correct me if I am wrong.

  13. Would it really matter what the rules are. They would brake them just to get little d in the race anyways.

  14. Ok first of all, even if he wasn't a past winner of the event, Jr would still be in it. Here's how, Both the driver and the car from the previous year are eligible for the race even if the driver switches cars. Since Casey Mears won with the 25(now 88 car) last year, he and whoever drives the old car are eligible. BTW, Casey got into the race last year this way, because Brian Vickers won a race in 2006, he and Vickers in the 83 Red Bull were eligible.

  15. Even with out the 10 year rule for former winners do you honestly think that he would not be voted in?  Check this out.  If Jr were not win a race with in the next 2 years, do you think that the voters would not  let him race!  He'll be in the ALL STAR race for as long as he is  in NASCAR even if he never wins a race again.  I would bet a million dollars on that!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. bercause he won it in 2000, that's the rule, if you don't like it, buy NASCAR and change it.

  17. 1-He won the 2000 allstar race so this puts him in.

2- The 88 car won a race last year(last year it was the 25 car)

3-He would have been voted in .

  18. He won the event in 2000 (the first rookie to win the All Star) he is locked in through 2010. That is why.

  19. also past champions are eligible to run in All Star race, he is past Nationwide champ(busch) x2

  20. The same way Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin are in the race. As Previous winners.

Past Champions are also automatically in the race. Terry Labonte could race if he wanted to, also Bill Elliott, even Rusty and DW could if they wanted to.

  21. Previous winner of the event. Look it up.

  22. Ah, spell check or lack of using it is a great thing.

He won the race in 2000. That locks him in as a past champion until 2010.
