  1. if you are talking about mccain he's not a hero because of his torture but because he went back to save his men and in the camp he saved many too and started revolts many times to throw off his captors so that he and his men could possibly escape. if you had read anything about his capture you wouldn't have reduced it to so general a statement.

  2. that question can go two ways it can eather save the human race like what jesus did

or just someones arms fragile like mccain

  3. I'm not sure what your talking about.

  4. I think it's more the fact that McCains father was a high ranking officer. McCain was offered a release based upon this, however, he refused to be treated differently than any other POW.

That makes him a hero in my book.

  5. I have no idea. I have no idea why people think that simply serving in the military gives McCain more experience as far as the military is concerned, either. He wasn't a big wig in the military, wasn't privvy to any of the top secret stuff and certainly wasn't head of the military. Just a soldier.

  6. It is usually for something other than the torture. The torture is just what is most spoken of.

If you had a million dollars in your pocket, and you got hit by a car when you crossed the street, would it be safe to say that you were hit because you had money on you?

No. But people will be more interested in the fact that you had a million bux on you, than whether or not you looked both ways.
