How come living in your own world is ignorant?

IF you live in your own world and don't pay attention what's happening outside of the world where you live is it ignorance. Not knowing different things about people cultures and nations.

Nobody owns their own world. We all live in the same one, which is why that mindset is ignorant.

Ok, so how would you prefer to define ignorance then?  "Not knowing" is pretty much the bottom line definition of ignorance, so I guess I'm not sure what you're after.

First, yes it is ignorance. . BECAUSE i think that is actually selfish and the next thing happen was you are totally left out and while others are talking about XYZ, you are still asking about ABC. Yes and I did that before. . and that was so pathetic. . .

Secondly, because you are living in your own world, you sub conciously dodging all knowledge that been thrown to you. You never actually catch on the knowledge thus making you ignorance of others. .
