  1. Israel is an ally.  It's the same reason why we don't hear about Great Britain doing it or anyone else.

  2. Iran is not in the Middle East!

  3. Yak Rider is a bafoon,

In the first place, Israeli leaders HAVE threatened to nuke countries, and get a load of this, not just threaten, they've done it! They illegally cross borders and have bombed Iraq, Lebanon , & Syria.. The president of Iran has never threatened Israel, and his statement of whipping it of the map was tremendously misinterpreted. He only threatened to bomb Israel , if they entered Iranian Soil and bombed iran. Get the facts Yak. Also, Unlike Israel, Iran has never bombed another country

  4. Israel doesn't have an insane leader making threats to nuke other countries.  That's the number 1 reason but I'm sure there are more.

  5. Isreal is a Middle- Eastern country

Isreal has had nuclear weapons for a long time now.  What would enriching uranium change now?

  6. Iran has the right to enrich uranium, as long as it is transparent in its activities, and of course does not enrich uranium to the point it can be used in a weapon.  If it is not open in its activities, then Iran is in breach.

Legally speaking, there is no restriction on Israel, because it is not a member of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (neither is Pakistan or India).

Uranium is dangerous stuff, so when leaders start talking about wiping off other countries, you can be forgiven for being a bit cautious.

  7. There is such thing called the Nuclear anti-proliferation treaty (NPT), which Iran, Syria and many other countries are signed on.

Signing it means they get support for building nuclear reactors for energy production, and in return they must report all their nuclear activity, and must not attempt to obtain nuclear weapons.
