How come most questions in Alternative Medicine have to do with drugs or getting high?

I must agree with Madame M :)  I think the section should be used for alternative medicine only but thats just me :) To all his own :)  (or her own) :)

because many "Drug User" like to be informed on what they are taking/going to take and this is a place where we can ask those questions and get answers from other people who have done those "Drugs".

and Cannibus as well as other drugs surve medicinal perposes sometimes even better than prescription medician

Most of our alternative medicine seems to be about

self-medicating, which is what people are doing with

the grass and other stuff.

I don't know where else they could go, though I've seen

quite a bit in other catagories.

I guess they hope to find someone who won't cut them

off and put them down for their usage.

I understand.  Just make a room that say Medical Drugs.  And maybe we'd get some real Alternative Medicine questions in this area.  But for now, don't know.

I don't really know.  The other question, is why people also post a lot of allopathy questions in here as well.

Alternative medicine by my definition, is to create a healthy alternative way to take care of your body, minus toxins, drugs, and medicines.

Maybe Yahoo Answers should make a few more categories, like Medicinal questions.

I would rather read and answer questions on taking apple cider vinegar for blood pressure, than how much cough syrup do I have to take to get high.  That's not natural, or safe, and cough medicine isn't alternative health!

Its a bit disappointing how little this area is used for 'Alternative Medicine' questions.
