Question:

How come my 360 Avatar is a picture that's not even uploaded?

In 360, I deleted it from my Personal Photos and changed the Primary to a different photo.

That was hours ago, but the avatar hasn't changed.

My Answers profile is set to "use my 360 photo".

Any ideas??

  1. maybe because you checked the box use my 360 photo and never uploaded your picture. I recommend just changing it to no picture.

  2. Well friend.. I don't know anyone who isn't having major problems with their 360's... because..

Yahoo is in the process of launching a new platform here on this site.

The 360 will no longer be called the 360 after this.. we will have a new blogger and other things which yahoo has not announced yet.. Until that then they have stopped doing maintenance on the 360 and have pulled a lot of the server from it to give it to the new platform,  it is extremely difficult to not give up on this site lately.. they set a date for the change over to take place through a letter to a friend of mine who published it in a blog to us.. but  it has passed us by already.. .

The 360 product blog has a blog posted by Matt Walburton .. the new head of Yahoo.. that explains most of the questions you might have.. here is the link to that blog

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360

I hope they get it together soon!

  3. iff you watched a movie or played a game with the avatar it's proboly from there.

  4. Borat ??? wow.... lolz

  5. Make sure 360 loaded properly...I had problems with 360.

  6. lol, yea that's another symptom of Yahoo's computer glitch that they have been trying to figure out.  My avatar (along with many others) won't show up either.  Hopefully they'll solve this issue soon

  7. You were recently showing the red "X" of a bad link, so there must have been a glitch in the system.  The people of Khazakstan would be proud to know that you had trouble with a link to Borat.  It seems fitting.

  8. Your image is cool. Why would you wanna change it.

  9. awwww dude, that totally sucks.

  10. UPDATED: Simply, when changing a 360 picture so that it can appear on Y/A, it may take a few days for the Y/A system to register the change. Also, there is a history of glitches with the feature. So, patience is necessary. You'll need to go through the process and have a blank image for a while until the system processes the change.
