I think it may be some rule or restriction

  1. They are nonconforming, so it would be against the rules for you to play it. If you even have it in your bag could cause your team to be disqualified.

  2. Perhaps your coach wants you to learn on more traditional equipment. The thought may be that you can gain more skill by using a smaller club head. Relying on an oversized club head may have it's drawbacks.

Just a thought. I would really ask your coach/school why the ban to make sure.

  3. Ask your coach

  4. perhaps your high-school is sponsored by Nike or Titleist.  If so ditch the driver and be happy to be getting free golf balls like pro v's and/or nike one's

  5. its not a rule infraction...if it were then Big Bertha would not have made them.  The max size for a driver is 460cc...why your team cannot use them is beyond me.  maybe your coach has a vendeta against them

  6. never heard of a high school banning a club that doesnt go against any rules. i dont really know why theyd ban it. Id ask your coach

  7. too big
