How come my Ipod turns off every time i take it off charge?

Every time I take it off charge it turns off. I tryed putting on reset, and it still doesint work.

What do I do to stop this?

I don't know the answer, but my son is having a similar problem with his and we think it is that the battery has gone out.  Of course, the fact that he washed it in the washing machine in his jeans may have contributed to that.. but it worked after the washing machine incident.  It was nearly a month later that he started having the battery problems. Good luck with getting it working again.
