How come my action replay for my ds doesn't work on the computer?

Question

I pluged the usb in the computer and downloaded the software but when i go on the action replay code manager, it still says that it is waiting for the ds even though it is already plugged in. I just bought it.

If you have it plugged in the Action replay then good and then pluged it in to your computer in the right slot cause yesterday I found that their was 2 slots in my computer that the USB cable fitted in so I tried the 1st slot in my computer and said (Waiting for DS so then I tried it in the 2nd slot and it finally worked.

Ok i had this same problem.

When you insert the USB  a box comes up on the computer that says the install... yada yada yada... so then you click the first bubble and then insert the disc. then wait for a sec and the box will change or you will have to click next. then once it is done open up the manager and it should detect it.

go to walmart and buy this 30 dollar thing

it has a usb for the ds to cennect to the comp and also has a empty ds chip and then just download free games and music on it
