Without a thorough musculo-skeletal exam, you can't tell.  You can get guesses and hunches from someone online, but you have to treat them as such.  A great sports-focused chiropractor, or or other sports-focused medical professional, is likely someone who you need to see.  Ask around, you are likely to find someone near where you live who can provide you with the medical attention you need.

    ***A HUNCH***

Eh, let me answer this indirectly, so it's certainly not a medical diagnosis.

A long, long time ago, I began getting excruciating pains above my hip, extending down my leg.  Turns out that one of the major nerves, the sciatic, comes out of the spinal column (lumbar region - lower back - I believe) and extends down the leg.  With high impact, or with slight misalignment, the vertebra surrounding and protecting this nerve will press against it.  Yes, this is  what is often called a "pinched nerve."

Solutions are several.  My sports doctor prescribed exercises both painful and effective.  Others may prescribe a combination of exercises and NSAIDs.

And for some, relief is long-coming, if at all.  And be aware, it can crop up again in the future.

So, again, see a sports medical professional for a precise diagnosis and remedy.

  3. You may have a mild pinched nerve.

  4. Hmm..it may be because you're back might not be absorbing the shock well enough, especially when you go uphill. point your toes up and fire (like clench, flex, so you can feel it, you'll know) your glute and see if that helps, it should absorb shock better, and also keep your shoulders back and low.
