How come my camera won't copy my videos???

Question

Well, I have a Canon Powershot A630. When I first got it a year ago, I was able to take photos and record 8 minute videos then upload them to my computer. But just recently, it won't copy my videos, it will say 0bytes. And i tried to install the cd again but it still won't download. The windows media player says player cannot play this file. Any answers???

Take the memory card out and use a card reader.
