  1. Could be they loaded it on your spool backwards?

  2.   best answer or solution to the problem .It is spooled wrong. even if you put a swivel on your line this is no guarantee. Most of the time when you have to strip all your line off and re spool.

I will tell you something that will save both time and money.

Next time you are on the water trolling or in current

    (1)take everything off your line.

    (2) let out all your line laying it on the water

    (3) let the troll or the current straighten the line. the water resistance will straighten it .

(4)simply reel back in the line with current resistance.

Hope this save s ya lot`s  a fishin bud

  3. probably because they spooled it wrong or its just bad line

  4. you might not be keeping tent ion on the line. or they put it on bad or u might need bigger test line.

  5. sounds like they put it on the spool wrong.

  6. If you're talking about that "twisting" that occurs, a swivel or snap swivel can help alleviate that.

  7. The thinner the diameter the line, the more chance there is of it tangling, it could be you need to use a swivel with your lure, also if you are letting the line go slack it can cause it to tangle on the spool. Also the chances of it being spooled wrong is very small, its very hard to spool  spinning reel wrong, even if they didn't keep the tension on the spool the bail arm and rod rings usually will allow a little tension on the line preventing loops.

  8. While it is possible that it was put on wrong, you are more likely to find that your lures are to blame. Inline spinners, and improperly hooked worms put a twist in your line when they rotate, and that twist is wound up on the reel. Adding a swivel to your line will help prevent the line twist in the future. Line twist can also hinder the ability to get a good hookset. Letting out most of your line and pulling it behind a boat without any hooks or lures attached, will help remove some of the twist. !!!Tight lines!!!

  9. cut your lure off of the line, let all of your line out and with the line  gently between your thumb and finger reel the line back in and put the lure back on the line. this will take the" twist" out of it.
