How come my long haired chihuahua all of a sudden got a bald spot on underside? anyone know?

Well she is not scratching it at all. It is not red it's pink just like the rest of her skin it's just bald and I'm not sure why.

A bald spot could honestly mean a number of things. The best thing you can do is take your dog to see a vet and get it checked out.

They will be able to run a few lab tests to determine what it is and how to help it.

MAY BE MITES, IS HE ITCHING ALOT? I WOULD TAKE HIM TO THE VET TO MAKE SURE IF IT IS MITES YOU JUST NEED A SPECIAL SHAMPOO, NOT A BIG DEAL.

It might just be some hair loss. How old is your chihuahua? It could be some hair that was just meant for when she was a puppy. I have a chihuahua and she used to have some hair on her underside, but now she doesn't. I don't think it is a problem, but if you are really concerned ask your vet. Vets always give the best opinion.
