Question:

How come my pc says "no pictures found" when I plug camcorder in?I can watch the vid on camera or tv!

tried uninstalling and reinstalling program,turning firewall off-same results,no pictures found. camera is new,panasonic

  1. Are you using a MiniDV camcorder with a stills feature (which you haven't used) and connecting it to your PC via USB?  And are you using the software that was supplied with the camcorder?  If so, you need to capture the video via firewire rather than USB - if your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.

    The USB connection and supplied software are only for stills.


  2. I think you're cam's USB Malfunctioned,, ask panasonic to Replace a new device or a new USB Connector (If it have Warranty)

  3. Sometimes cameras hold multiple folders. Make sure that you are booting the right storage area, if the boot is automatic. Also,  check what types of files you are trying to view. I have never really seen this, but sometimes a camera can store pictures on some weird file type, and not one that your computer looks for.
