Question:

How come my questions in the forum get deleted?

I found the forum help a few days ago & posted a question about their servers & they [yahoo] seem to be :-(> on me, & today I got an e-mail to fill out a survay & gave them an 'eh' grade & put on the bottom that I was still waiting for an answer. I think the staff @ yahoo must not like someone like me on here, my brain may be different & people may not understand me. But to treat me rude is un called fore I think that they should all take a corse on how to treat people? Who knows maybe yahoo is under staff & for this I wish to say I am sorry, all I asked was about the group statuse & @ least [Jane - yahoo staff] could have told me that they do not know instead of giving me the bursh off & deleting my qusetion.

Thanks & God bless you all.

  1. Perhaps it's your attitude ... and maybe your spelling, too.   I had to read your post three times before I understood what you were talking about.  Maybe they couldn't understand you either.

  2. Everyone is out to get you. Run, they're recording everything you do. They're watching you right now. .. . Ahh.!!

  3. um.... could be an attitude problem or what you said?

contact "helps" and WAIT an looong time. Goes with the territory.

Pays to be polite and check your spelling.

  4. The Forum is for discussing how the Answers site can be improved and for getting help on problems you are experiencing with the Answers site only.

People get the wrong idea about the Forum, not entirely their own fault. The title "Yahoo! Answers Help and Suggestions Board" is misleading, it leads people to think that the forum is a 'help' site in general. The Thread at the top of the Forum named  'ATTENTION NEW USERS' lists out what the forum is not to be used for. Unfortunately not everyone sees or reads this thread first.

Perhaps you misunderstood the reply you got in the forum in the same way as you misunderstood it's function. The users in the forum are mostly, general users like yourself, with some input from the Yahoo Answers staff.  New input is always welcome and any user who makes a post in a reasonable manner is usually  made welcome, but like in the Answers site in general, there are diverse types of user and nothing can be guaranteed.
