How come my quickplay button isn't working?

i've had my HP pavilion dv2000 notebook for a little over a year. i occassionally use the quickplay, but rarely recently. i pressed the button to access quickplay, but it's not working. i went to the HP website to find a solution to my problem and it told me to download a softpaq driver. i did that, and when i tried to run what i dowloaded, it wasn't working. it said i have a setup.exe error. at this point i am frustrated and do not know what to do. i need help. PLEASE!!!

   Dont worry dear, things do happen.

We made the things and they play with us---- Right.

Ok send me a message to my mail id req for the Quick play.exe so that i can mail u the one.

I downloaded form somewhere and installed it, working fine

Earlier when i purchsed i got Vista in it so i formatted and installed XP now and i downloaded the quickplay and working fine.
