  1. sudden loss of appetite is almost always a sign of sickness. turtles also wont eat if they are too cold.  is the tank at least 80? if not then that could be your problem.   check over his environment and make sure that everything is in line (uv bulb, water temp, basking area, etc) in the tank.  you also may want to try different foods.  they can get as sick of food as we do.  so try offering lettuce again.  being bored with food may be his problem.

if you suspect your turtle is sick then up the temp a few degrees.  you may want to also clean the tank more then once a week during this sick period.

give your turtle a week.  if he doesnt seem better then consider calling a vet.  believe it or not your local (cat/dog) vets usually have the medications you need for a cheap price.  nursing a sick turtle back to health is very difficult if left untreated to long.  so dont delay if he isnt eating in a week.

when he isnt eating i strongly recommend this-

this will keep him fed and hydrated.  his regular food can be crushed and added to the mix if desired.

hope this helps and everything goes well

  2. he could be sick take him to a vet to see whats wrong

  3. well how do you know he is not pooping?what kind of turtel do you have? and what are you feeding hi?  Turtles are supposed to have a well balanced diet, turtle food, dark green leaf veggies, fruits and calsium rich crickets or meal worms.. so make sure he has all of that and maybe that iwll help with his digestion.... and if he still doesnt eat you have to bring him to the vet, thats a big sign when a animal is sick. als how are his eyes look? cloudy? thats also a sigh he could be sick...

  4. Lettuce can cause diarrhea, so that might be why he was "fine again" after you gave him lettuce before, if he had been constipated.

You can read those and see if you recognize what applies to your turtle, to see if he's sick or not.

Heat and diet are very important to health, so you might want to check out these and see if you have everything set up right, and are feeding him what he needs:

Keeping turtles isn't an easy thing to do.  It requires for you to invest the time to learn what they need for a healthy and happy life.

Have you tried live guppies or Rosy minnows?  Earthworms?  Cantaloupe or an orange wedge (no seeds)?

Offer different foods to stimulate his appetite, and I hope he's feeling better soon.

I hope this has been helpful.

  5. try feeding ur turtle fruits to try n soften things up

  6. sometimes they want something diffrent cuz they are bored with the same food over and over again. Sometimes you have to feed them worms , fish , brine shrimp and stuff once a week. go to your local petstore to get some treats that u have to feed once a week so they won't get bored of the same food over and over again.

    I hope i help :D
