How come my youtube doesn't play sound?

Okay guys, this isn't good. Like many other sane humans on this planet, I need my daily dose of youtube. It won't play sound. The video plays perfectly. It's just sound. It's not my computer because the sound works on everything else. I turn it up on full blast, nothing. It works on limewire but I like videos. HELP!

All the years that  I've been going on youtube this has never happened to me until today!! Arghh im like addicted to youtube so no idea how I'm gonna cope.  

If I find out soon how to get the sound back I will tell you straight away.

maybe you did not download youtube uploader ut i dont see why that would affect your sound. maybe you should right click the sound bar and set the settings i guess

Hmmm. Maybe, the volume of the youtube player is turned off, try increasing the volume of the Youtube Player.

Have you noticed the volume box in the bottom right corner of the video screen. You might have turned it down or muted it before and a cookie might have kept it that way.

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.

Try watching it during off peak hours, the sound play will probably play better.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just google search "zillatube" to get it.

That is what happening to me right now and i dont know how to solve it!!!! It think its a virus or something
