people are too lazy to work hard for anything when they can go in a car to the store and buy what they have. thats why the illeagals find work so easy in the united states. less face facts the american kids are given or steal all the money they need without working for it

People are too lazy to bend down to pick them up.  The amount of meat you get for the work of cracking the shells isn't much return for your time.    Walnuts don't grow where I live.  I collect beechnuts when I find them.

Speak for yourself. They are a lot of work to shell but it is worth it. Did you know that you can get a pale green dye from the husk?

that was part of my jobs ,picikng black wallnts and wild rose hips whe i was a tad smaller,miss those days.
