  1. Izbasa stuck all of her landings. I believe she deserved to win, unlike what happened in the VAULT where the bronze medalist completely fell on her knees.

  2. She is very good. These margins are razor thin and this new system of adding difficulty is hard to follow. The announcers said they thought Shawn should have taken gold too but Izbasa's style was different and some judges like that style better.

  3. I don't think she did. Sandra had a very good routine and she didn't make any mistakes. It was fair and she was better than Shawn today.

I wanted Shawn to get the gold.

  4. She really deserved that medal.

I was sitting home watching TV and she simply brought tears to my eyes.

  5. I don't know about being robbed, but I really wanted Shawn to win at least one Gold in the Olympics. d**n luck...

  6. Shawn did an excellent job on the floor routine, but at the end of the day, Sandra was better. Shawn had a couple of shaky landings and there seemed to be more useless arm flailing and long pauses. Sandra was almost always moving around, she had more impressive feats, and she had the perfect balance of creativity and gymnastics. Oh, and let's also mention that she stuck every single landing. I'm an American citizen but I've always been a fan of the Romanian team in gymnastics and in a lackluster year for the team [and for the sport in general], Sandra really performed one of the most impressive exercises in all of the gymnastics events. No, she did not rob the gold from Shawn. She earned that gold fair and square.

Shawn won the gold on balance beam so she can be happy with that.

  7. Sandra was the BEST! Whether you americans like it or not. her exercise was vey hard, I wish  some people who don't know nothing about gymnastics, please keep quite about the difficuly level of an exercise. What was boring to her routine? The fact that people started standing up and  giving her the credit. Get real and start to accept the fact that americans are not that great!

  8. That's because some people haven't seen it yet, but Izbasa's routine was amazing.

  9. I think that the judges got the scoring on this event right.  Shawn Johnson and Nastia Luikin did well, but Izbasa just had a better performance in this event tonight.

  10. Some of Shawns elements were kind of sketchy but Izbasa's routine was very boring and plain like a routine you would do in the 1992 Olympics. I would have rather had Shawn win but she may have not gotten credited for a certain pass. Shawn's floor exercise even with a few mistakes should beat a clean boring and safe routine which Shawn's routine was not totally clean but the judges could feel free to give her an edge if she had a more difficult leap pass.

  11. I think that she should have got the silver.

  12. Um... was that supposed to be a question?

  13. because she actually deserved the medal.  She did not land on her knees or go out of bounds, like the other two did.  She did a great routine and deserved the medal completely.  I will give credit where it is due and  she was great.  She stuck almost every landing and was almost perfect.  Shawn was great, Sandra was better.  I can take losing a medal to someone that is actually better, just not when the scores are not fair.  This one was.

  14. If you notice, no Americans have said anything negative about her. She had a better routine and she's not 12 years old, so she has her gold fair and square. It's all good, people are happy for her.

The Chinese are cheating, that's why people are angry. Fair is fair and that's what the Olympics is truly about. It will be hilarious when IOC revokes several more Chinese medals in a couple months due to fake passports... they've lost medals for cheating in years past as well.

  15. She was the better gymnast in that event and on that day. No one is biased.
