  1. Both are for it. So there's no differences to talk about.

  2. I really thing that immigrants don't bother us at all. I won't mind their presence as long as they get the legalization they need and pay taxes like us. I see no problem on that.

  3. They both want the vote, difference is Obama will even give them Welfare!

  4. Because no one really wants to fix the problem!

There is big money in it.

    Jobs!

It is up to us the American people to make them do something.

    The problem is, what?

If you say let them stay, then more will come.

    We already did this.

If you say deport them, then the civil rights people get mad.

We have put our heads in the sand for to long and now the issue is out of control and maybe to big to fix.

  5. They avoid the subject like the plague, because they know that MOST Americans want these criminals deported, but they don't want to lose the minority vote either.

    It's just that simple.

  6. Its called getting the latino vote.

  7. Probably because polls show that for MOST Americans illegal immigration is not a key in this election.  The economy is number one. Most people across the country don't consider illegal immigration a major economic issue in their community.

  8. they will wait until they get elected to talk about what needs to be done and then nothing at all will be done. something needs to be done about it. i have nothing wrong with any people that do things the right way and bust their butts to get what they need.if you or i break the law in the same manner we will be marked for life

  9. No, they didn't.

But it is very clear for everybody that the immigration ( legal or illegal, it doesn't matter ) is a sensitive issue during elections.

Most recent immigrants know very well that the witch hunt about illegal immigrants is really a not so subtle manifestation of hatred against foreigners, legals or illegals, and the legal ones can VOTE

  10. They are in the senate, house and local races.

They aren't in the presidential race because they have few differences.  McCain is slightly better but still panders to hispanics and illegal aliens over citizens.

Since both want amnesty it will be up to our local representatives (and who we elect in those much more important races) whether or not this country decides to give amnesty away to 20 million criminals.

  11. because they don't plan to do anything about it.

  12. Both of them have a very similar stance on illegal immigration, basically providing a path to legalization for those already in the country.

If there's not much to talk about, why mention it?

But perhaps Bob Barr will run for the Libertarian Party, and you could vote for him.

  13. Because both candidates have done their best to keep this issue out of the race. They are both for some form of amnesty and they know they would not get the hispanic vote. Yes they figure if it is on the back burner, they can later sneak in another bill towards amnesty, we as citizens need to make sure it never goes on the back burner!
