  1. Clinical depression isn't something you can "come out" of on your own because it results from an imbalance of chemicals in your brain.  It can also be related to other medical disorders.  I think talking to a doctor is the only way to figure out the cause of the depression and to come up a long term treatment plan.


  2. go take a walk or exersize. endorfins make you happy! if tht doesnt help try seeing a therapist

  3. I would tell u about my experience...Even i too was too depressed because of some personal issues but now i feel quite relaxed..

    Wat i used to do is i go out to the ground play for a while and wen ever i feel depressed i would listen to some pop,rock music which would enlighten my mind,.,...

    Most important this is you should never think that you are lonely or alone.

    also be cheerful all the time and keep smiling...................

  7. It depends on how depressed you are.  If it's minor just listen to some good music and read soemthing interesting.  Hanging out with friends can help.

    If it's more serious you may want to consiter seeing a profesional.  I did and it made a world of difference.

    If you've been depreesed a long time you can forget how to be happy and if you reach that point you really need to turn to others for help, family, friends, or doctors.  There is alweays someone out there if you need to talk.

  8. Excersise  usually have opposite effect. First try to know yhe cause of depression. Too much use of black color via furniture,clothes results in increase in negative vibration.People surrounding u also may increase that.It may be due to too much comparsion with others and it is a common in our society.Stop that .Meditation depends on its acceptance on yr culture.If allowed then sit in yr room and concentrate on yr breathing, read good literature, positive company.

  12. It's a well known fact that frequent exercise and a good diet help protect against / cease depression. There is a scale called the hypo-glycaemic register, which shows how quickly a food releases its energy into the body. Foods like chocolate are very high up on it, as they release very quickly. The problem with this, is that although it gives you a sort of high, you also experience a form of come-down, similar to that of narcotics abusers, though not as severe. So eat heathy food, like fruit (bananas in particular). Eat three good meals a day, instead of snacking.

    If this does not work, you may have psychological problems, and may need the help of medication such as paroxetin, or diazepam, due to possibly a reduced serotonin level.
