How come people can talk about?

Question

On this Yahoo thing I could talk about killing my baby (abortion) and not about killing a cat ( an animal)? I am just wondering, for some reason cause i hate cats i get written up for that?? Must have been an animal rights person i guess not a human rights person.

Abortion is legal. Killing a cat is an illegal act. It doesnt take rocket science to figure that out.

Because to many people, there's a big difference from terminating a fetus before birth and murdering a living, breathing animal.  

I'm sure you're joking about hating cats so much you want to kill them.

In point of fact, Brigit, while a fetus is alive, it's not breathing.  More to the point, and with all due respect to your opinion, I disagree.  A fetus isn't a baby, nor is it a person, until it's reached a certain stage of development (about 24 weeks) wherein it's possible for the fetus to exist outside the host (mother).  That's why most state laws (and federal law, too) in this country limits abortions to the first 24 weeks and prohibits abortions thereafter (except in certain emergency cases).  

I have both a cat and a dog.  Love them both in different ways.  My dog's my hunting buddy, fishing buddy, and even helps when I cut and stack wood.  The cat, on the other hand, is no help as all, but is awfully cuddly now and again.  

Again, I sure respect your right to your opinion, but I have the right to my own, and to express it.  I dont have any idea why your question would have gotten a violation.  There's no accounting for some people's kids.

Because a lot of people on YA need to grow up. And stop using fuzzy marketing works like "baby killing". Abortion is simple - if you don't want one, don't have one. If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?
