I don't get it either. There are so many good internet radio stations with life streams for any musical taste...

i do it because i get to make more stations, and can really customize my stations how i want them.  granted it's not perfect, but it's only around $30 a year, and that's not too much to ask for my own specific stations that match whatever musical mood i'm in.  (not to mention, i can ban any song i don't like, and i never have to hear it on my station ever again!)
