How come people say not in network?

On my yahoo 360 if I click on my list for music and click one of my bands a list of other people who like that same band pop up but all of them sat , "not in your network". I'm trying to figure out why is that?

It just means these people enjoy the same music as you or have similar settings but they are not in your network meaning your "Contacts" or friends network.
