How come people still think Al Qaeda does what he does for Islam?

You know they also bomb Islamic countries, right? I can't understand why people blame a religion and people who believe that for a terrorist group's actions. Should we also blame Christianity for Hitler's insanity?

They bombed countries where the majority of people are Muslim too. Check this out:

They blame Islamic countries to harrass the faction of government that is not controlled by them. It is about TOTAL CONTROL. The do not bomb in IRAN for example...or in PALESTINE.

Bombing a country that has Islamic people is no different. They bomb Islamic countries because they feel the Islamic people there aren't 'Islamic' enough.

They just hate everyone, it's what their religion preaches, hatred and violence (Well, thats like all religions, but still)

It's just got to do with the way muslims a portrayed in society, all we see in the media is fanatics and death when in reality these activists are only a small handfull of people. There are just as many terrorists in every other religion.

They claim it is for Islam so why shouldn't we take them at their word.  I don't see a whole lot of people from the Islamic community denouncing actions by Al Qaeda..

I never claimed that there weren't terrorists that followed other religions.  This question was quite specific and referenced only Islam..

First of all, Al Qaeda is not a "he," but an "it."  Second of all, the attacks are done in the name of Islam.  There are plenty of Muslim people who do not believe in violence, just as there were plenty of "good Germans" who did not agree with the n**i philosophy but did nothing to fight it, either.  Hitler's platform was about a strong sense of nationalism, creating a superior race, a third Reich.  The closest that he came to bringing Christianity into it was by spreading propaganda in the beginning of his rise to power that the Jews killed Christ. That was only one of many ploys to fuel hatred against them, not a staple of his platform.  So, you have a map with red dots on it.  Do you even know what was bombed in those countries?  Often, when Al Qaeda bombs a country that it is primarily Muslim, the target is an American embassy, training area, or the country has ties to foreign nations that are not primarily Muslim.  Al Qaeda announced a jihad in 1996 to drive out foreign entities from Muslim lands.  So, it only makes sense that they are bombing the foreign military that are in those lands, as in the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia where American military and contractors were training the Saudi National Guard.  Do a little more research.  Here you go, since you like wikipedia so much:

Sunnis kill Shiites and Shiites kill Sunnis both do it in the name of Islam.  

Throughout history more wars and crusades have been caused by religion.   Hate, misunderstood ideals and prejudices have always existed and today is no different.  The Jewish people who are waiting for the Messiah are doing so expecting him to come to earth and 'through war' bring peace. That is why they rejected Jesus.

Jesus acknowledged that and offered a different way called Grace through the forgiveness of sins.  Then Christians poluted that through persecution in the name of God...Crusades, Salem witch trials etc.  Today they/we do the same in the name of Christianity.  I am a believer in Christ and call myself a christian but I know that the religious right type of christianity is simply a modern version of Pharacees of Jesus' day.  

The religious right need to stop trying to legislate morality and do what Jesus commanded them to do...Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide shelter for the homeless.  Don't get me wrong many do, just that those story's never make headlines.

It's the ignorant and afraid that can not tell the difference between Al Qaeda and Islam. The vast majority of Muslims appalled by the actions of Al Qaeda.

Your explanation doesn't make any sense either. They are Muslim. Just like the people that bomb abortion clinics in the name of Christ, they are extremist followers of their religion. They aren't atheists, that would leave no logical reasoning for their attacks.

Oh, and Hitelr wasn't Christian. If anything he believed in Ariosophy.

For the record Al Qaeda does try to help people of Islam we just don't know their intentions and only see the after effect. For instance they reduced drug trade in Afganhistan by 90 percent and try to uphold Muslim tradition.
