They kill good healthy horses on the track if they lose a race. Because they don't want a losing horse. They can't afford it then, so instead of giving them good homes they kill them. I really don't know where I'm going with this. It just irrates me too were I can't think right now. I hope you know what I mean.

  1. Because PETA would rather be uninformed and on TV than doing any real good, they are a cult of ignorants

  2. Yes, I do! (I think)

BUT, the US is a Much BIGGER target for 'PETA' ..... being the  'majority' of the Puerto Ricans are ALREADY here.... (NY & Florida)

  3. Puerto Rico is not exactly known for humane animal acts.

They have c**k fights all over the place. Wild, homeless dogs roam the streets and beaches, because they don't have shelters or rescues. It's sad, but It's life.

If they don't humanely kill these horses, they don't have a good home.

  4. Because, it seems, PETA cares more about publicity than actually doing any good.  They have knee-jerk reactions nto things they don't really know anything about.  It's those involved in horse racing that are working to end slaughter - PETA just blows a lot of hot air.  I really can't articulate how hypocritical I find PETA to be. All they do is publicity stunts -- I really haven't seen them do anything good for animals.  They didn't protest when Chelokee broke down the day before, or when George Washington died at the Breeder's Cup -- just when they had a huge audience.  This organization may have started out with good intentions -- I'm all for treating animals ethically -- but they have gotten way off track.
